Brindlefield started because our founder, a former UK rescue shelter volunteer, kept running into the same frustrating issue: online animal care information was routinely regurgitated from uncited blog posts, lacking clinical oversight and veterinary accuracy. We established Brindlefield to build an independent journal where every recommendation is grounded in peer-reviewed veterinary science and hands-on husbandry experience.
We maintain direct working relationships with registered veterinary surgeons, animal behaviorists, and accredited rescue charities rather than rewriting PR releases. Every article goes through a mandatory two-stage review process before publication, and our transparent correction log holds us publicly accountable for every word.
